LONDON: Prince William’s wife Kate gave birth to a boy baby on Monday. The baby was born at 4:24 p.m. London time in the Lindo Wing hospital. Lindo Wing hospital is that hospital where several members of the Royal Family have been born. He is the first child of this couple who will be 3rd in line to the British throne.
The baby was born with weighed 8lbs 6oz (3.8 kg).
Kate and her Royal child are both doing well and will remain in hospital overnight.

The boy’s name will be announced latter, the statement said.

When Royal birth was announced, a loud cheer went up from the well-wishers and media gathered outside the hospital.

“Both my wife and I are overjoyed at the arrival of our first grandchild,” Prince Charles, William’s father said in a statement.
